was born as Aldo Caporuscio on November 13, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Aldo is a Canadian guitar player, keyboard player, vocalist, and producer. His debut album, Aldo Nova, was released in 1982 and had two singles which came from it. The singles were Fantasy, and Foolin’ Yourself. He gained much success from the album and singles but the sales waned by the middle 1980's. Aldo was one of the most critically acclaimed guitarists of the era.

Aldo did not begin playing the guitar until he was 15, but he practiced hard and also learned to play the keyboard. He was a hometown hero in the local clubs with his music. Aldo played the role of George Harrison in the production of Beatlemania. He was also a studio engineer after hours. He signed on with Portrait records and released the album, Aldo Nova. He produced the album himself. His second album, Subject...Aldo Nova, was released in 1983 and had one hit single from it. The hit single was Monkey On Your back. After the release of this album, Aldo’s career began to fade but he found work with other bands. He worked with Jon Bon Jovi in the 1980's and also produced some of Celine Dion’s albums. Aldo Nova is the one who can be heard playing guitar on Bon Jovi’s debut hit , Runaway. It is Richie Sambora that is shown playing the solo part in the song on the music video. Richie had joined the Jon Bon Jovi band at about this time. Aldo also wrote and produced parts of Chantal Condor’s 1989 album, Chantal. In 1991 he tried to get Jon Bon Jovi to help him revive his solo career with the release of his, Blood On the Bricks. The album only reached number 124 on the charts. He is now a song writer and is living in Saint Lazare, Quebec, Canada. One of his most recent hits is, This Is the Night, which was a number one Billboard hit single. The song was co-written by Chris Braide and was sung by Clay Aiken, an American Idol Star.

The four singles by Aldo were, Fantasy, Foolin’ Yourself, Monkey On Your back, and Blood On the Bricks.
